The Trust also has an Advisory Committee which is made up of three elected members of the public (two must be Effingham residents), a representative of each of the eight main user groups, 2 Trustees and the KGV Manager.
This Committee meets twice a year, usually in March and September, and its purpose is to provide feedback and advice to the Trustees on its direction, policies and services as they affect the community.

The Board of Trustees is made up of seven individuals, four of whom are appointed by Effingham Parish Council and three that are co-opted.
There are currently six Trustees
Brendan Kelly (Chairman), John Blackburn (Treasurer), Gill Walker (Secretary), Mark Jones, Simon Ralph and Gill Bowerman.
The Trustees meet four times a year and hold an Annual General Meeting, open to the public, in June/July.
The day to day running of the facilities is delegated to an Executive Committee which has five members
Mark Jones (Chairman), Cheryl Warren (Secretary), Keith Howieson, Simon Ralph and Lorna Lock (Manager).
The Committee meets monthly on the fourth Monday.
The Effingham Village Recreation Trust came into being in August 2009 as successor to the charity, King George’s Field and Hall. Its Charity Scheme Number is 305018.
Its main object is to provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities for the Parish of Effingham and its immediate neighbourhood principally through the provision of a village hall and recreation grounds.
