The Halls

The Main Hall is a multipurpose room that can accommodate a variety of activities, with superb views over the playing fields and woodland.
It can be hired by the hour, morning or afternoon session(four hours) or day.
We also do package deals for Wedding Receptions and Childrens Birthday Parties

Typical functions that it can handle will include:
• Public Meetings (AGMs etc)
• Wedding Receptions
• Parties (Birthdays, Christenings, Children’s events etc)
• Club Meetings (see below)
• Seminars, Conferences and Training events
• Small Exhibitions
• Quiz Nights
• Dance/Keep Fit Classes
• Jumble/Table Top Sales
• Music Practice
• Drama/Concert Performances
• Indoor sports (i.e. Table Tennis, Bowls etc)
• And much more

Clubs and organisations that currently use the Hall include Guildford Borough Council, Effingham Parish Council, Surrey Police, The Women’s Institute, Effingham Garden Club, Effingham Table Tennis Club and a number of dance and keep fit groups.
The Hall has tables and seating for up to 120 people and has a self contained fully fitted kitchen with place settings, crockery and cutlery that can be hired.
The Hall possesses a stage suitable for presentations, small dramatic productions, discos and live music. A PA system is available by arrangement.
The Hall also has two sets of double French doors opening onto a paved and fenced patio area with wonderful views of the facilities.
Catering can be provided by your own caterers or we can recommend local caterers for you to use. A licensed bar can also be arranged or you can provide your own free bar.
The facilities also possess two smaller rooms each ideal for smaller parties and meetings up to 50 and 80 people respectively. Both areas are licensed with fully equipped bar areas and kitchen facilities.
