The Effingham Gentleman’s Club is a new social group that meets in the Village Room of the KGV at 10 am on the 4th Thursday of the month.
It offers retired and semi-retired men a vibrant community to connect, share interests, and enjoy enriching experiences.
Members will enjoy guest speakers, social events, and outings, fostering camaraderie and intellectual stimulation in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Partners are also welcome to attend and participate in activities.
Current events include guest speakers on topics such as ‘Confessions of a PR Man’, ‘Crop Circles ‘, ‘ Damb Busters’ and ‘Putin’, and special events including Clay pigeon shooting.
A trip to Portsmouth Dockyards is planned, along with walking and pickleball groups, cycling and a lunch club.
