Each year the Trust's accounts – formally, the Report of the Trustees and Financial Statements – are subjected to independent examination in accordance with the Standards for Reporting Accountants and with the requirements of the Charity Commission. They are presented in public at the Annual General Meeting and are subsequently submitted to the Charity Commission. The Trust's Independent Examiner is currently Tudor John LLP of Epsom.

Note that the accounts for 2009 relate to the Trust under its old scheme, when it was called King George's Field and Hall, whereas the accounts from 2010 onwards relate to the Trust under its current scheme, now called Effingham Village Recreation Trust.
