Jubilee Celebrations 2002

The Golden Jubilee of 2002 marked the passing of 50 years since the Accession of Queen Elizabeth II. Effingham’s celebrations took place on Saturday June 1st. The event was opened by The Lord Lieutenant of Surrey Mrs. Sarah Goad accompanied by Mrs. Jessica Page as Chairman of Effingham Parish Council.
