A Project Completed by the Trust in 2018

Car Park Bollards

The ‘rustic’ wooden fencing around the car park’s boundary had become very rickety and a safety hazard. In 2017 we decided to replace it by wooden bollards, about 76 of them.

An application to fund this was submitted by Effingham Parish Council to GBC’s Concurrent Functions Grant Award Scheme and was successful. The money – half from GBC and half from EPC – became available in 2018 and by October the installation of the bollards was complete.

New gates were also installed leading from the car park onto the fields.
