2016 was the 50th anniversary of the opening by Dr. Barnes Neville Wallis of the King George V Hall, on October 1st 1966.

We decided to mark this anniversary by mounting several wooden glazed display cases in the KGV to hold varying displays of heritage material provided by Effingham Local History Group.

The display cases were funded by a Community Fund Grant awarded to the Trust by Effingham Parish Council.
