Your team at The KGV is delighted to share the exciting news that our bid to Surrey County Council’s ‘Your fund’ has been successful. Through the fund, we have secured £1/2 million to support our accessibility Playzone and Nature Trail.
We hope work will begin over the next few months to create an inclusive and accessible new playzone, including an all-weather games court, social spaces and picnic areas, inclusive new play equipment, a network of paths connecting all areas of the park and an accessible nature and habitat trail.
The project should transform the external areas, make them accessible to everyone all year round and provide valuable informal sports and play facilities for our community.
We will soon be launching additional fundraising projects to complete the project, so please watch this space!
