We are thrilled to share some exciting news! We have successfully secured a grant to support the creation of a much-needed Community Hub and Heritage Centre right here at the heart of KGV.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our management team and the support of local councillor Colin Cross, our vision for a vibrant and inclusive Community Hub and Heritage Centre is set to become a reality. The new KGV Community Hub and Heritage Centre will be accommodated through an extensive renovation of the Old Village Rooms, transforming them into a space that embodies the spirit of our community.
📜 Preserving Our Rich Heritage 🏰
The Heritage Centre aspect of this project holds considerable significance, as it will allow us to preserve and showcase the rich history and cultural heritage of our area. Situated within a bespoke area of the Old Village Rooms, we will create a captivating exhibition space where historical artefacts, photographs, and stories from our community’s past will be lovingly shared with the community and preserved for generations to come.

The Community Hub will serve as a multifunctional space, welcoming residents of all ages to come together, connect, and engage in a wide range of activities. From art and craft workshops and educational classes to community events and social gatherings, the new space will provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for our community to come together to learn, play and socialise.
